On the evening of May 28, under the guidance of coach Kim Sang-sik, the ASEAN All Stars team had a friendly match with Man United at Bukit Jalil Stadium (Malaysia).
With careful play, adhering to tactics and taking advantage of opportunities, the Southeast Asian players defeated the "Red Devils" with a score of 1-0. The only scorer was Maung Maung Lwin.
In this match, midfielder Nguyen Hai Long was one of the outstanding players. The Hanoi FC striker is the only Vietnamese player that coach Kim Sang-sik has started in the ASEAN All Stars squad.
The first half was the time when coach Kim Sang-sik's team created a better game, with many clear opportunities in front of the opponent's goal. Hai Long left a positive mark with good ball handling.

The 25-year-old midfielder continuously made it difficult for young center back Ayden Heaven with dribbles and runs. Hai Long contributed 3 out of 5 shots from the ASEAN All Stars team to Andre Onana's goal. One of them was a free kick from the fence but the ball flew over the bar.
At the beginning of the second half, coach Kim Sang-sik took Hai Long off and sent Hoang Duc onto the field.
After this impressive performance, Hai Long received a "shower" of compliments from Vietnamese and international fans. On social networks, many people expressed their excitement when the Vietnamese striker had a good performance against Man United players.
On the X platform, Man United fans left many shares about Hai Long, comparing the striker of the Vietnam team to a classy player who can replace Garnacho or Mbuemo on Man United's side.
