Previously, Thanh Hoa Football One Member Co., Ltd. sent an official dispatch requesting a review of the refereeing work for the match between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa.
The dispatch contained content reflecting that the referee team managing the match had negative behavior, forced, and caused disadvantages for Thanh Hoa club. This team also sent photos and USB images to record the above situations.
Based on the function of the Criminal Police Department and the regulations on coordination with the Vietnam Federation of Labor (VFF) in handling violations of the law in football, the Department's official dispatch has transferred these documents to VFF for consideration and resolution according to regulations.
Previously, VFF announced the temporary suspension of the duties of referees and related individuals to handle errors, and affirmed that there will be strict handling measures if there are violations.
VFF still maintains that most of the referee's decisions in the match were correct, despite some minor mistakes, including a situation in the 65th minute that could affect the result of the match.
However, on February 24, Thanh Hoa club continued to send a response letter to the conclusion of VFF.
The referee team to officiate the match between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa on February 14 included FIFA referee Le Vu Linh, 2 assistant referees Le Xuan Hung and Le Tran Nghia. The fourth referee is Nguyen Van Phuc, the VAR referee is Nguyen Ngoc Chau and the VAR assistant is Tran Ngoc Nho.
