Hue University wins 2025 student football tournament

On the afternoon of November 28, Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium exploded in the final match of the 2025 National Men's Student Football Tournament TV360 Cup, concluding a journey of more than 2 weeks of fierce competition between the 16 strongest teams in the country.

Previously, the qualifying round took place from October 12 to November 6 in 5 regions, gathering 69 teams from universities, academies, colleges and creating 114 exciting matches to select 16 representatives to participate in the final round from November 18 to 29.

After 30 exciting matches, the two teams with many achievements, Hue University and Hanoi University of Sports and Physical Education, met in the battle for the throne.

Accordingly, Hue University opened the score in the 45th minute thanks to Duy Tan's shot. In the second half, Hanoi University of Sports and Physical Training stepped up the attack and equalized 1-1 in the 62nd minute with a header by Duc Duong. The draw after 90 minutes forced the two teams into a tense penalty shootout.

Both goalkeepers shined, especially Xuan Khanh of Hue University with two decisive saves. After a penalty shootout, Hue University won a thrilling victory of 8-7, thereby winning the championship for the second time in a decade.

In addition to professional quality, the tournament is also marked by beautiful images. Players from Hue University and Nha Trang University sent their condolences to the people of the Central region affected by floods through messages on their shirts and in the celebration, spreading the spirit of humanity and community responsibility.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding collectives and individuals with a total value of 210 million VND, concluding a complete and emotional season.
