Previously, the last time the army team won this tournament was in 2011.
Meanwhile, Sanest Khanh Hoa has the right to regret only winning the runner-up position this season. Because in the group stage, coach Bui Quang Ngoc and his team defeated Bien Phong with a score of 3-0.
The third place overall belonged to The Cong Tan Cang, when Nguyen Van Quoc Duy and his teammates easily defeated LPB Ninh Binh with a score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-23).
In addition, two teams that received relegation tickets were XSKT Vinh Long and Ha Tinh.
Regarding individual awards, main striker Pham Van Hiep of Border Defense Club was awarded the title of Best Attacker. He played very impressively, scored many points, and contributed to helping the army team win the championship in this tournament.
Van Hiep's teammate Dinh Van Duy received the title of Best Setter. Notably, this player has just returned to competition after a long period of injury treatment.
Finally, the title of Best Defensive Player belongs to Huynh Trung Truc of Sanest Khanh Hoa club. He is one of the best liberos of Vietnamese volleyball at present.
