On the afternoon of March 14, the U22 Vietnam team had an active training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
On the sidelines of the training session, striker Nguyen Thanh Nhan shared: "Up to now, I feel like I can play well with the players. As for Viktor Le, he has very good personal skills".
Regarding yesterday's practice match with U19 PVF (13.), Thanh Nhan said: "This is the first match of U22 Vietnam in many months. I think the team needs to improve many things. However, in general, the players understand each other quite well, remind each other more on the field and play more confidently.
After the match, the coaching staff also met and advised the whole team to overcome their weaknesses to aim for the upcoming friendly tournament in China. Regarding the 3-4-3 formation, I have been familiar with it for quite a while and can play well with this system.
When asked about the integration of the two overseas Vietnamese players at U22 Vietnam, the striker born in 2003 said: "With An Khanh and Viktor Le, I also talk a lot during meals and often hang out with them. I find their personalities quite harmonious."
Finally, Thanh Nhan emphasized that the goal of the upcoming U22 Vietnam is to prepare well for the friendly matches, thereby gaining experience and aiming for further plans such as the 2026 U23 Asian qualifiers and the 2025 SEA Games.
