Coach Kim Sang-sik shares about Que Ngoc Hai's performance in the match between Vietnam and India.

On the evening of October 12, the Vietnamese team welcomed the Indian team at Thien Truong Stadium in the FIFA Days October friendly match.

The Vietnamese team was awarded a penalty in the 11th minute, but captain Que Ngoc Hai failed to convert it. After the match, coach Kim Sang-sik admitted that the defender from Nghe An was under a lot of psychological pressure.

"Que Ngoc Hai has been with the team for a long time and is an important player for the team. As captain, he has a lot of pressure, especially after the loss, Ngoc Hai's spirit was not 100%. After the match, I will talk to him more."

In the end, the Vietnamese team drew 1-1 with the Indian team. At the end of the second half, the home team had many good opportunities but could not take advantage.

"Right at the beginning of the first half, I launched many new players such as Vi Hao and Ngoc Quang. In the second half, although the Vietnamese team conceded a goal, the players still tried hard until the last minute, I was satisfied with that. In the second half, I also wanted to give opportunities to other players. They all performed well today," the Korean coach shared.

Mr. Kim Sang-sik said that before this match, striker Nguyen Van Quyet announced his plan to leave the team.

"Van Quyet shared with me about this plan, I know he receives respect and love from Vietnamese fans. Today, although he did not play much, Van Quyet performed well. I want to thank Van Quyet for his contributions to the team. I chose Van Quyet for the team because I realized that the Vietnamese team is lacking a striker, besides Tien Linh.

I used Vi Hao as a striker today. I believe Tien Linh and Vi Hao will be good strikers for the Vietnam team in the future," Mr. Kim added.

On the other side, Indian coach Manuel Roca highly appreciated the performance of the Vietnamese team.

"The Vietnamese team has many interesting players, such as Bui Vi Hao and Que Ngoc Hai. I know the Vietnamese team is of good quality, with many good players, sorry I can't remember all their names. The Vietnamese team is faster than our players. Although the Vietnamese team's finishing is not really good, in the future I believe they will be a competitive team," the Indian team captain shared after the match.
