Hanoi Police Club will host PSM Makassar (Indonesia) in the second leg of the Southeast Asian Club Championship (Southeast Asian Cup C1) semi-final at Hang Day Stadium.
On April 29, speaking at a press conference before the match, head coach Mano Polking of Hanoi Police said that the support of the fans tomorrow (April 30) will be a great source of motivation for the team.
"When the match has many spectators coming to cheer, we will play well and continue. I believe with the team's preparation last week, we will have a good match.
Although it was an important match, we did not have the services of Van Thanh, Dinh Bac and Leo Artur. But the remaining players had effective training sessions to prepare for this match.
We had a match analysis session. Today, we have more technical adjustments to the tactics towards tomorrow's match.
In the first leg, we had a bad result despite a lot of control. Therefore, the players need to regain their form, control the game to take advantage of the opportunity to convert it into a goal.
PSM Makassar has the advantage, so they expect counter-attacks and set pieces. We have analyzed them but the important thing is that Hanoi Police must take advantage of the opportunity," coach Mano Polking analyzed.
This coach also shared that the grass at Hang Day Stadium is very good, but according to his assessment, if we can cut some of the grass, tomorrow's match will be more perfect.

Meanwhile, midfielder Quang Hai said: "Currently, the whole team has an effective and active training week towards the second leg of the semi-final. With the encouragement from the home audience, we will achieve good results.
Tomorrow is a special day, to share the joy of the country, we want to have a victory to give to the fans.
The whole team will aim for the most beautiful performance to get the best results. If they win, the whole team will celebrate with the fans and share with the fans in the stands".
On the other side, personal finance coach Fernando Jose Bernardo Tavares of PSM Makassar said: "We have been better prepared than the last time we played in Vietnam, when we lost 0-3 to Hai Phong.
This time, our goal is to achieve different results. Hanoi Police is a strong team, so we need to organize a tight defense and counter-attack more effectively.
The opponent is a team with great potential, possessing many quality national and foreign players. However, football is a collective sport, we will not focus on any individual. The whole team will try their best to play focused and effectively".
According to the schedule, the match between Hanoi Police and PSM Makassar in the second leg of the 2024-2025 Southeast Asian Cup C1 semi-finals will take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 30.
