Previously, VSC-S4 regions have identified 8 representatives to attend the Final Round in Ho Chi Minh City including: TIG, Dai Tu, Truong Hung The Gia, Hieu Hoa Quahaco, Dak Lak Lottery, OCB Lucifer, WTeam and STPFood. These are the teams that have reached the finals of the Northern, Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions.
The draw of luck put the home team, also the reigning champion of the Southern region, WTeam in group A with Dai Tu, Truong Hung The Gia and OCB Lucifer. Meanwhile, group B has the presence of the teams Dak Lak Lottery, Hieu Hoa Quahaco, TIG and STPFood.
The teams will play a round robin against each opponent in their group to determine their ranking points. Then, the top two teams in each group will be selected to compete in the semi-finals, the ranking match and the final. According to the assessment of the clubs, the two groups in the final round are evenly matched, promising to create exciting and unpredictable matches.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan - General Director of VietFootball Company said: "VSC has entered its 4th year of organization, witnessing a record number of clubs registering to participate. In this year's final round, there are only 3 out of 8 teams that participated in the previous season, including 5 rookies. This shows the level of competition is both fierce and attractive in the cup arena.
The teams are all in top form to contribute and enjoy the 7-a-side football festival week together. This is what VietFootball has always built and aimed for as a professional playground for grassroots football with the motto of playing consciously, playing to enjoy.
The VSC-S4 final round takes place from December 1 to 8 at Gia Dinh Stadium (2A Phan Chu Trinh, Binh Thanh District, HCMC).
