The U22 Vietnam team will officially enter the 2025 CFA Team China friendly tournament with a match against U22 Korea in the opening match.

Before the tournament, coach Dinh Hong Vinh shared: "This is still an experimental training session, so U22 Vietnam will try to show themselves at the CFA Team China tournament.
Through the performances of the players, the coaching staff will evaluate and select good faces for the next training sessions. The destination of U22 Vietnam is the 2026 U23 Asian qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games taking place at the end of the year".
On the other side, U22 Korea also brought their strongest squad to China. This is an important force that this team is preparing for the upcoming Asian tournament.
