    In fact, it was the poor connection with the central defenders due to language barriers that caused Nguyen Filip to lose his starting position at the recent Southeast Asian championship.

    In more than 2 months, the Vietnamese team will gather again and Nguyen Filip's academic results will be tested by what he shows on the field.

    Everyone understands that, in terms of expertise, the goalkeeper born in 1992 still has many outstanding points compared to his colleagues. However, Nguyen Filip still "lacks something" to become the perfect piece of the Vietnamese team.

    Sometimes, the goal conceded is not directly due to Nguyen Filip's fault. For example, the Vietnamese team conceded a goal against the Philippines in a relatively harmless move. The public has the right to ask what would have happened if Nguyen Filip had informed his teammates better...

    Moreover, when goalkeeper coach Lee Won-jae leaves the Vietnam team, everything can change. The Korean football legend himself chose Dinh Trieu as the main goalkeeper when the national team trained in the land of kimchi. Mr. Lee's opinion received respect from head coach Kim Sang-sik.

    In this season’s national championship, Hai Phong club and Dinh Trieu himself have not achieved high performance. Therefore, the coming time will witness a change in the balance between the goalkeepers of the Vietnam national team.
