In the 14th minute, Nham Manh Dung (The Cong Viettel) touched his hand in the penalty area after Song Lam Nghe An's free kick. However, the referee did not award the away team a penalty, and there was no intervention from VAR.
In the 51st minute, the Nghe An team scored from a corner kick but the goal was not recognized. referee Nguyen Viet Duan also did not review VAR.
In the 86th minute, The Cong Viettel was awarded a penalty after Quang Vinh (Song Lam Nghe An) collided with Cong Phuong in the penalty area. After 5 minutes of consulting VAR, referee Viet Duan decided to award the home team a penalty.
Song Lam Nghe An said that the collision between Quang Vinh and Cong Phuong was unclear. And these 3 decisions changed the game in an unfavorable direction, causing frustration for the team as well as the fans.
Song Lam Nghe An affirmed that the goal of inviting the Criminal Police Department C02 to participate is to clarify the negative signs, protect transparency and fairness for the tournament.
Previously, this team sent a petition to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), requesting clarification on the refereeing of the match. VPF also responded in an official dispatch to Song Lam Nghe An.
Accordingly, VPF respectfully acknowledged the information and comments on the refereeing work from the Vinh Stadium team. VPF also affirmed that it always coordinates and provides maximum support for the VFF Referee Board to perform well the refereeing work, contributing to ensuring the success of the tournament.
