This is the first time VS (assisted video support technology) has appeared in the Futsal World Cup playground, so the process as well as the implementation have many notable things.
In this tournament, in the group stage, each team has the right to ask the referee to review the situations with goals/no goals, penalty/no penalties, direct red cards, and determine the violator. In addition to the requirements from the teams, the referee will also review VS in case the clock strikes the wrong time, to determine whether the goal has been scored or not, whether the ball rolls over the goal line or not.
Applying VS will help matches be guaranteed the highest level of objectivity and accuracy from referee decisions. Coach Pham Minh Giang and the coaching staff are very interested in the principle of using VS, because this will have an impact, bring certain advantages, affecting the result of the match.
