On the evening of February 26, striker Nguyen Tien Linh was honored with the 2024 Vietnam Men's Golden Ball. This is a worthy achievement for the efforts of the striker born in 1997 in the past year.
Notably, immediately after receiving the Golden Ball award, striker Nguyen Tien Linh used the entire 40 million VND in bonuses for charity.
"Tien Linh is the happiest person tonight. And publicity is to contribute. Linh would like to share this great happiness by giving the entire 2024 Golden Ball prize worth 40 million VND to 6 disadvantaged people who need help from the "Gia Dinh Viet Shelter" program and contributing additional funds to build a boarding house for primary and secondary school children in Dan Van (Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang).
Tien Linh does not know what to repay other than trying to make efforts in his career and sharing in the community to spread more positive values, Tien Linh shared.
The 2024 Ballon d'Or title will be a great motivation for Tien Linh to continue to shine in the Binh Duong club and national team jersey.
Tien Linh will be in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup with the opening match against the Laos team on March 25 at Binh Duong Stadium.
