After winning the 2024 ASEAN Cup with the Vietnamese team, striker Nguyen Tien Linh immediately joined Binh Duong club and won against Nam Dinh in the 1/8 round of the National Cup.
In the next match, Tien Linh and his teammates will return home to welcome Binh Dinh club. Sharing with Lao Dong, striker Nguyen Tien Linh said that the recent ASEAN Cup 2024 championship is the motivation to help him gain more confidence in the upcoming journey.
"After completing my mission with the national team, I have more motivation to enter the V.League journey. The Southeast Asian championship is difficult and I can achieve it with the national team. That will help the players have more confidence in the upcoming journey," Tien Linh shared.
Binh Duong is in the process of getting acquainted with the tactics of new coach Nguyen Cong Manh. According to Tien Linh, Binh Duong club is showing many positive signs after the first time working with the new "captain".
"Coach Nguyen Cong Manh's appointment as coach of Binh Duong team has brought comfort and positivity in terms of playing style as well as personnel. In the coming time, Binh Duong will bring different faces after the past 9 rounds. I think the whole team will do well in the coming time.
"Mr. Manh has great ability, desire and wants to show himself. The whole team will do well with the tactics set by the coach and get what they want," Tien Linh emphasized.
The match between Binh Duong and Binh Dinh in round 10 of V.League 2024-2025 will take place at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (January 17).
