Midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc officially left The Cong Viettel 3 months ahead of schedule, preparing to join a First Division team.

On October 8, The Cong Viettel club officially announced Nguyen Hoang Duc's contract.

Accordingly, the leaders of The Cong Viettel agreed with the proposal to end the contract 3 months ahead of schedule and create the best conditions for the midfielder born in 1998 to join the new team.

"Hoang Duc will always be a testament to the results of training, coaching and contributing talents to national football of The Cong Viettel. Wishing player number 28 of the military team to continue conquering new steps in his career on the wide open road ahead," wrote the homepage of The Cong Viettel club.

Midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc grew up in the training center of The Cong Viettel. The player from Hai Duong contributed greatly to helping the team win the 2018 National First Division Championship, the 2020 V.League Championship; third place in V.League 2023, and runner-up in the 2023 National Cup.

According to many sources, Hoang Duc's next destination is Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club - playing in the National First Division. This team is completing the necessary procedures to register the 26-year-old midfielder.

In terms of personal achievements, while playing for The Cong Viettel, Hoang Duc won 2 Vietnamese Golden Balls in 2021, 2023 and the Bronze Ball in 2022, and was also the Best Player of V.League 2023.
