Referee Bunmeekiart has served in Vietnam many times, not only in international tournaments but also in the V.League.
In 2023, he officiated the highlight match between Cong An Ha Noi and Ha Noi FC.
This is considered the "early final match" of the season. Previously, in the V.League 2022, he also started the match between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang in round 24.
On the contrary, this is the first time referee Torphong sometimesing has been invited by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to participate in organizing a match in the V.League.
Inviting foreign referees, especially those with international experience, is an effort of VFF to improve the quality of tournament management and increase transparency in key matches.
The match between Da Nang and Quang Nam in round 23 of V.League 2024-2025 will take place at 6:00 p.m. on May 17 at Tam Ky Stadium.
