For the U17 Vietnam team, VFF continues to trust coach Cristiano Roland - who left a strong impression in terms of expertise when leading the U17 Vietnam team through the 2025 U17 Asian qualifiers as well as making a strong impression when defeating Uzbekistan 3-0 and defeating Japan 1-0 to win the runner-up position in the 2024 Peace Cup international friendly tournament in China.

In addition, in order to improve the quality of the U17 Vietnam coaching staff in the 2025 U17 Asian Cup finals, VFF has decided to appoint Mr. Yutaka Ikeuchi as technical supervision advisor.
According to the plan, after a training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, U17 Vietnam will go to Oman for training from March 23 to March 29. Here, the team will have 2 "fire-tests" matches with host U17 Oman before traveling to Saudi Arabia to participate in U17 Asia 2025, competing for the opportunity to participate in the U17 World Cup 2025 when the number of participating teams increased from 24 to 48, of which Asia has 8 places.

On the side of U22 Vietnam, preparations for the 2026 U23 Asian qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games have also been implemented very early, especially the work of building a force with many young faces created conditions for concentration and training with the national team. Some players even made their national team appearances in official international tournaments, most recently Bui Vi Hao and Khuat Van Khang at the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
In 2025, VFF will continue to create conditions for U22 Vietnam to gather, train and participate in the national team's training session during FIFA Days. In March, the team will participate in the 2025 CFA Team China International Football Tournament. In addition to the familiar guests U22 Vietnam (South Asia) and U22 Uzbekistan (China), the tournament also has the participation of a very strong team from East Asia, U22 Korea.

According to the plan, U22 Vietnam will gather again on March 10 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. Because at the same time as the FIFA Days training session in March 2025 of the Vietnam national team, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh will be given the head coaching position, replacing coach Kim Sang-sik.
