On November 14, the U22 Vietnam team held a meeting to learn from the 1-0 victory over U22 China in the opening match of the 2025 Panda Cup international football tournament.
The meeting is considered an important preparation step to help the coaching staff and players re-evaluate their performance, consolidate their expertise and aim for a better result in the next match against U22 Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the coaching staff used data and video clips to analyze each situation of the match in detail. Coach Dinh Hong Vinh acknowledged the efforts and competitive spirit of the whole team, especially the ability to stay focused at decisive moments.
However, he also pointed out areas that need improvement such as ball control, state transition speed and performance in final handling.
According to Mr. Vinh, the victory over U22 China is a positive thing, but the important thing is that the whole team must show progress through each match. The coaching staff assessed U22 Uzbekistan as a well-organized opponent and possessing a technical playing style, requiring U22 Vietnam to prepare more carefully to maintain initiative on the field.

On the team's side, Head of the delegation Tran Anh Tu praised the fighting spirit of the players in the opening match. He emphasized that the Panda Cup is a valuable opportunity to rub shoulders, helping the youth team accumulate experience before the journey towards the 33rd SEA Games and the 2026 U23 Asian Cup finals.
The head of the team also asked the players to stay focused and focus on recovering their physical strength to ensure the highest performance in the following matches.
The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Uzbekistan will take place at 2:30 p.m. on November 15 (Vietnam time). This is a big challenge but also an opportunity for the team to continue to improve their playing style and develop the squad towards long-term goals.
