Xuan Son may receive a large signing bonus from the contract with Nam Dinh team

Striker Xuan Son can receive about 36 billion VND in signings (excluding salary) at Nam Dinh club, based on a new contract with a term of 6 years.

On the evening of April 24, Nam Dinh club announced a contract extension with 13 players. Of which, Nguyen Xuan Son is the name with the longest contract signed. The striker born in 1997 will continue to be associated with the team from Thanh Nam until 2031 (6 years).

In return, he will receive a leniency regime including leniency, bonuses and salaries from Nam Dinh. This number has not been disclosed. However, according to research from some teams that approached Xuan Son before, this player has a contract quite similar to domestic players after returning to Nam Dinh since the 2023 season.

Accordingly, Xuan Son received a salary of about 80 million VND/month and earned about 5-6 billion VND/season over the past 2 years in Nam Dinh.

With the position of V.League Top Scorer for 2 consecutive seasons (2023 and 2023-2024), plus a huge mark in the Vietnam national team, Xuan Son clearly did not receive a lower number than the previous treatment from the team from Thanh Nam. This means that this naturalized striker can receive over or under 36 billion VND in signing fees until 2031.

This helped Nguyen Xuan Son surpass midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc (about 30 billion VND for 3 years with Phu Dong Ninh Binh) to become the player with the most guaranteed hand in Vietnam's history in one contract signing.

In addition to Xuan Son, Nam Dinh club also extended contracts with a series of other players, Lucas Alves, until 2026; Tran Van Kien until 2027; Nguyen Manh, Caio Cesar, Nguyen Phong Hong Duy, Le Vu Phong, Tran Liem Dieu, Nguyen Dinh Son until 2028; Duong Thanh Hao, Nguyen Van Vi, Ly Cong Hoang Anh, Tran Van Dat until 2029.
