Causes of postural low blood pressure

Neurological problems: Neurological diseases such as diabetes, parkinson's and autoimmune diseases can impair the body's ability to regulate blood pressure.

Other physical problems: Dehydration, anemia, hyperglycemia, atherosclerosis, heart failure and arrhythmia are common causes.

Medications: Some medications, especially when taken together, can cause low blood pressure, especially in the elderly. Medications such as alpha drugs, blood pressure drugs, diuretic drugs, and anti-depressants can lower blood pressure.
