Nose blockage is a common phenomenon when the weather enters the transitional season.
According to health care experts, nasal congestion is caused by irritated lining in the nasal passages or tubes, increasing sebum secretion to eliminate foreign substances that cause allergies or disease-causing microorganisms. Basically, this increase in sebum secretion is good, but it can lead to nasal congestion in some cases.
Normally, nasal congestion can go away on its own, except in cases of severe nasal congestion caused by a virus infection. However, if left for a long time, the symptoms of nasal congestion will persist, causing discomfort and difficulties in daily life. Therefore, when you have nasal congestion, apply one of two methods: massage and use saline.
With the first method being massage, this is considered a simple, safe and effective treatment for nasal congestion. Accordingly, use your hands to gently press the rear positions such as between the eyebrows, the two sides of your nose, and between your nose and lips.
When done like that, the capillaries will be less swollen, thereby helping to clear the nose easily, the fluid in the nose can also pass through and excrete, reducing nasal congestion and making the airway more convenient.
For the second method, use saline, use a specialized pump or injection pipe. Then pump a strong saline solution into one side of your nose. Pumping strongly and decisively so that the saline drains to the other side of the nosehole. Repeat this process until your nose is completely clean.
However, it should also be noted that if the above method is applied, it must be done correctly to avoid reverse infection or ear canal inflammation.
