On January 16, the Trade Union of Can Tho Central General Hospital successfully organized an art performance to celebrate the Party and the New Year of the Snake 2025.
The contest aims to create a joyful, exciting and united atmosphere among the hospital's staff and workers at the beginning of the new year, celebrating Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).
With the theme of singing to celebrate the homeland's renewal, to celebrate the Party, to celebrate the New Year, to sing about professions, union songs... the contest received active response from union members and workers from the departmental unions; taking place in 2 sessions (morning, afternoon) with dozens of solo, duet, group singing, dancing performances,...
According to the Organizing Committee, the performances were invested in quality, closely followed the theme, had impressive costumes and were full of emotions.
Many union members and employees of the hospital shared that they were very excited to have the opportunity to relieve stress after a period of work; to have the opportunity to show their talents; and to promote the emulation movement of the hospital's Union.
It is even more meaningful that from this contest, the Organizing Committee will consider selecting impressive performances to participate in the program "Sharing Love 8" held on the evening of January 17 at the hospital. The annual music night aims to raise funds to support patients in difficult circumstances.
This is also an opportunity for the hospital to meet and express gratitude to the donors who have accompanied the social work, supporting patients in difficult circumstances in 2024; a traditional cultural beauty of the hospital over the years.
According to the Hospital Board of Directors, the program is organized as a bridge to help thousands of poor patients in the Mekong Delta provinces. The singing and dancing from the artists, doctors and nurses of the hospital will be words of sharing and encouragement for patients and their families with the hope of a quick recovery.
