Accordingly, Vietnam National Group of Industry and Energy (Petrovietnam) and Petrovietnam Trade Union organized a ceremony to attach the plaque of the project "Central Technology Platform of Block B Gas Field Development Project" to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
This is one of the typical projects of Petrovietnam honored to be selected to attach a sign to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, contributing to spreading the profound meaning and exciting emulation spirit of the great festival to labor and production movements.
It is known that the upper layer of the central technology treatment rig belonging to package EPCI#1 of the Block B gas field development project has a huge volume of more than 24,000 tons. This is an item that plays a key role in the operation of the entire project chain.
To move this huge asset from the drawings to the field, the construction site always has more than 4,000 engineers and workers working directly day and night under the close supervision of Phu Quoc POC and the elite construction capacity of the General Contractor PTSC M&C.
Despite facing many challenges, great progress pressure and harsh weather conditions, the collective of workers made efforts to break through with the spirit of "overcoming sun and winning rain", excellently completing the items.
As of the end of May 2026, EPCI#1 package has completed more than 64% of the overall workload, affirming the bravery, intelligence and spirit of mastering technology of Petrovietnam employees.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of Petrovietnam Trade Union, attaching signs to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress has very special spiritual value, one of which is to recognize the results of the emulation movement launched by Petrovietnam Trade Union two years ago. Through preliminary reviews, units participating in the project have made efforts to closely follow the goals and excellently complete the committed progress milestones.
According to the plan, by 2027, the project will continue to complete the next important milestones. Therefore, the requirement is that the emulation movement needs to continue to develop substantively to bring the Project to the finish line on time, achieve quality and absolute safety.
From that reality and towards the strategic goal of welcoming the first gas flow (First Gas) in 2027 as well as responding to the emulation movement launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, units are committed to continuing to promote the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" to be increasingly vibrant and stronger.
