19 Trade Union Shelters are given to workers

Hanoi - In the period of 2023-2025, the Trade Union of the Northern Power Corporation has provided support for 19 Trade Union Shelters to workers.

The Northern Power Corporation Trade Union currently has 35 grassroots trade unions with 26,149 union members of 35 grassroots trade unions.

In the period of 2023-2025, the Trade Union of the Northern Power Corporation has provided support to 19 Trade Union Shelters, providing a support for union members in difficult circumstances. The humanitarian blood donation movement continues to be widely supported by union members and workers with nearly 8,000 units of blood donated.

In addition, the Trade Union of Northern Power Corporation also actively coordinates to implement many practical safety programs such as Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Culture. The 1,700 occupational safety and hygiene force operated effectively. On average, about 6,000 training sessions, regular check-ups and reminders are held each year.

The union also allocated resources to support unfortunate accident cases with a total amount of more than 1.8 billion VND, promptly encouraging workers and their families.
