On October 16, Mr. Le Xuan Thai - Chairman of the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) Trade Union - said that EVNSPC has just organized the 2024 Collective Bargaining Conference.
The conference discussed 10 collective bargaining contents, 16 periodic dialogue contents and proposed amendments to 24 contents of the regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level.
The discussion focused on key issues such as: Working hours, rest, salary issues, salary increases for employees, rewards, occupational safety and hygiene, labor regulations, etc.
The opinions raised at the conference were compiled by EVNSPC Trade Union based on proposals from the collective of workers at labor conferences, direct meetings with workers and from the practical operations of units and professional departments.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Duc - General Director of EVNSPC - acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions expressed and discussed at the conference; basically agreed with the contents of collective bargaining, periodic dialogue, and proposed amendments that EVNSPC Trade Union had compiled.
Mr. Duc also shared that since the beginning of the year, the leadership and employees of EVNSPC have made efforts to overcome many difficulties and challenges, ensuring safe and reliable power supply to serve the socio-economic development and people's lives of 21 southern provinces and cities, most of the assigned targets and tasks have been achieved and exceeded the plan.
From now until the end of the year, the corporation and its member units will continue to focus on implementing drastic solutions to comprehensively complete assigned targets and plans; strive to increasingly better care for and ensure the lives of workers.
