On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), the Vietnam Banking Trade Union (VBTU) organized a conference to honor 95 delegates who are outstanding grassroots trade union (CCC) chairmen from 1,020 CCs in the entire VBTU system.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union... attended the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union assessed that the 95 Trade Union Chairmen honored on this occasion are truly outstanding and exemplary trade union officials with strong character; the Trade Union Chairmen not only represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers but also contribute to promoting emulation movements, enhancing the sense of responsibility and professional ethics in the entire banking industry.
In the coming time, Mr. Dao Minh Tu hopes that the Trade Union Chairmen will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, creativity and innovation in their work, actively study to improve their qualifications, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, and at the same time propose timely policies and measures, not only to protect the rights of union members but also to help union members and workers develop comprehensively in all aspects.
According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union, the banking industry is currently facing many great opportunities and challenges in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution.This requires careful preparation of human resources and infrastructure to meet the new requirements of the times.In that context, the role of the Trade Union and the Trade Union Chairmen has become more important than ever.
Mr. Dao Minh Tu hopes that union members and workers in the industry need to continue to promote a sense of responsibility and raise awareness in labor and work. Each individual needs to proactively grasp and implement the policies and regulations of the Party and State, and actively participate in activities organized by the union.

Mr. Dao Minh Tu hopes that in the context of increasingly deep economic integration, the Trade Union President needs to proactively care for the lives and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Each Trade Union President needs to be a shining example of responsibility and dedication, always completing the assigned tasks excellently.
According to Mr. Dao Minh Tu, in the coming time, the Vietnam Banking Trade Union needs to focus on propagating and educating union members and workers to raise political awareness, understanding of the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's legal policies, especially new policies of the industry directly related to the rights and obligations of workers.
In addition, it is necessary to continue to effectively organize emulation movements, cultural, artistic and sports activities and social security programs. In particular, the trade union needs to focus on building and consolidating the organizational structure, ensuring that the trade union staff is arranged appropriately, fully meeting the requirements in terms of quantity and quality to ensure the effectiveness of the organization's operations.
