Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month 2025 is launched by the Vietnam Banking Trade Union with a number of contents such as concern for working life, welfare regimes to promptly visit and encourage union members, especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances; union members, union members' families of workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses; ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, working conditions, working hours, rest hours, organizing visits and giving gifts, expressing gratitude to workers...

100% of trade unions at the grassroots level directly implement the Plan and 50% or more of grassroots trade unions have at least one activity in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month.

Speaking here, the Standing Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union Dao Minh Tu emphasized that this year's working month with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneered the new era" is an opportunity to honor the value of labor, arouse the creative spirit and responsibility of all cadres, union members and workers in the political implementation of the whole country, contributing to the country in the construction of the country.

At the same time, starting the month of action on occupational safety and sanitation with the theme "Strengthening the evaluation, risk recognition and proactive measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace" to emphasize the strict implementation of the Party and State's policies in protecting the health and life of officials, union members and employees of the banking industry in the process of performing assigned tasks.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union suggested that trade unions at all levels should take advantage of the leadership of the Party Committee, closely coordinate with heads of agencies, units, and enterprises to effectively organize the activities of Workers' Month - Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, periodically meet, listen and dialogue with workers, civil servants, and laborers; promptly resolve issues of concern and concern to union members and laborers, focusing on building safe working processes and measures, reducing stress at the workplace...

At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" in 2024. Of which, 1 collective and 1 individual received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 13 collectives and 55 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Bank Trade Union.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union presented 204 gifts to encourage and visit union members and workers directly in difficult circumstances at units under the Trade Union of the Central State Bank.

In addition, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union presented 80 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union.
