Trade Union supports Lao Cai people with 60kg of vegetable seeds

The Trade Union of the General Corporation of Vegetables, Fruits and Agricultural Products supports the government of Nam Khanh commune, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province with 60kg of Lao Cai vegetable seeds of various kinds.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Working Group of the Trade Union of the Fruits and Vegetables Corporation (under the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union) visited and encouraged the people of Nam Khanh commune, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province, who suffered damage due to the impact of storm No. 3. Also accompanying them was the Trade Union of An Viet Investment and Trading Transport Joint Stock Company.

The working group supported the commune government with 60kg of various vegetable seeds worth more than 12 million VND; 8 gas cylinders (12kg); 8 gas stoves (4 double stoves, 4 single stoves); 1,000 m2 of tarpaulin; 80 double mosquito nets; 1 roll of rope to deploy logistics and infrastructure for people whose houses were eroded or at risk of erosion and had to stay in temporary camps...

In addition, the delegation also directly gave cash to 68 people who suffered losses. Each gift was from 500,000 VND - 1,000,000 VND depending on the level of damage. The total amount of support was 86.5 million VND.
