The workshop took place under the chairmanship of Colonel Nguyen Van De, Head of the National Defense Trade Union Department and the participation of commanders of functional departments of the General Department of Politics Office, Propaganda Department, Organization Department, Mass Mobilization Department; Party committees, commanders of the National Defense Trade Union Department; Heads of departments, and mass work departments of units.
At the workshop, Colonel Tran Thi Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the National Defense Trade Union Committee said that the National Defense Trade Union Committee has proactively advised and closely coordinated with agencies and units to develop a Draft Political Report of the General Department of Politics to submit to the 11th Congress of the Military Trade Union (2025-2030). The entire process is fully implemented in stages and steps in accordance with regulations, ensuring scientificity, strictness and quality.
According to the Draft Report, the theme of the Congress is Innovation in Trade Union organization and activities; building loyal, courageous, democratic, intellectual, enthusiastic, and affectionate Trade Union cadres and union members, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Army.
The two main contents include: Evaluating the results of the workers' movement and trade union activities in the period of 2023 - 2025; orientation and tasks of the workers' movement and trade union activities for 5 years (2025 - 2030).
According to the analysis, the theme of the Congress affirmed the urgent need to strongly innovate the organization and operation methods of the Trade Union organization in the Army in a focused, in-depth, practical, and profoundly effective manner, in the spirit of Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW; emphasizing the focus on building a team of cadres and union members of the Army with exemplary moral qualities, comprehensive capacity, modern industrial style, always enthusiastic, responsible, profound, and approachable; clearly demonstrating the aspiration to contribute, sense of responsibility, and the will to self-reliance, solidarity, and creativity of cadres, union members, and workers, towards the highest goal of contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern Vietnam People's Army, meeting the requirements of national defense in the new situation...

The 11th Army Trade Union Congress is an important political event, marking a new step in the development of the workers' movement and trade union activities in the Army. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress clearly demonstrated the political will, solidarity, innovation will, and dedication of cadres, union members, and workers, determined to successfully carry out the assigned tasks, goals, and targets, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Army.
