At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Ngoc Sang - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union - launched the emulation movement "45 days and nights to complete construction progress ensuring safety - quality - efficiency" with the slogan "Committed to do, said to do"; "All join hands for a comprehensive development of USCO Company".
The launching contents include: ensuring safety; ensuring quality; ensuring environmental sanitation; ensuring progress committed to completing the Project within 45 days and nights; enhancing the sense of responsibility, promoting initiatives, improving techniques, saving costs and improving the efficiency of the Project.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Sang called on all cadres, union members and workers working at the project to promote the strength of great solidarity, to join hands with all their enthusiasm and intelligence to overcome all difficulties and challenges, to mobilize and effectively use all resources to fulfill and win the goals, targets and tasks set by the company, contributing to the timely completion of the project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union Nguyen Thanh Tung praised and highly appreciated the practical activities of the USCO Company Trade Union; saying that this is a meaningful activity in the atmosphere of the whole country enthusiastically competing to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, striving to successfully complete the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union hopes that the company's Trade Union will coordinate with the professional sector to monitor and urge the implementation of the targets committed at the launching ceremony; propose timely rewards and incentives for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement, to contribute to bringing the project to the finish line ahead of schedule, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, quality requirements, and technical aesthetics as required.
In addition, in the coming time, continue to promote emulation movements, labor production, promote initiatives, improve techniques, apply scientific solutions, and innovate technology to improve labor productivity, increase income, improve working conditions for workers, and prevent occupational accidents.
At the emulation launching ceremony, under the witness of the leaders of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, the company leaders, and representatives of the teams working on the project signed the emulation agreement together, expressing their determination to unite, overcome difficulties, and complete the set goals and tasks.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union presented 50 gifts worth 25 million VND to union members and workers at the project; the company's leaders also gave gifts to encourage union members and workers working at the project.
