Vietnam Construction Trade Union has just presented savings books to children of LILAMA Corporation Trade Union members who died due to storm No. 3 (Yagi).

Vietnam Construction Trade Union awarded a savings book worth 10 million VND and a gift worth 2 million VND.

At the savings book presentation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of Vietnam Construction Trade Union (VTC), encouraged and shared the great loss with the family of the LILAMA Corporation Trade Union member who unfortunately died.

"The savings book is the heart of the Trade Union organization, sharing and accompanying the child and family to overcome some of the difficulties and continue to move forward in life," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung shared.

Savings books for children of union members who unfortunately died due to Typhoon Yagi are a support program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The book is given to the child's legal guardian, including: Father or mother, or legal guardian certified by a competent authority. Only the child's legal guardian can receive and manage the "Vietnam Trade Union Savings Book" on behalf of the child according to the principle of "1 book, only 1 guardian manages".

Every year, at the beginning of the new school year or on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the union coordinates with the guardians to withdraw the deposit interest to give to the children, close the books and hand over the principal when the children turn 18 years old.
