Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Chairman of Vietnam Construction Trade Union - said that, deeply aware of the attention of the Party and State, promoting the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, women of all classes, including women in the construction industry, have strived to train, contribute, work wholeheartedly, be creative, constantly improve their qualifications in all aspects to advance in work and life, actively and effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements.
"Many women are typical examples, recognized and inspired women across the country and in the community, especially the younger generation, to have more motivation, enthusiasm and determination to follow in the footsteps of previous generations," said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung.
In addition, emulation and reward work has an important position, meaning and role in contributing to creating motivation to build the political system, promoting socio-economic development. President Ho Chi Minh taught: "Emulation is a very good and practical way to make people progress. Emulation helps to unite more closely and unite closely to compete forever". In the current period, our country is promoting industrialization, modernization, developing a socialist-oriented market economy, it is necessary to continue to implement Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation to motivate and encourage cadres and party members in labor, economic development and the task of protecting the Fatherland.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized that, with the role, significance and importance of women's work and emulation and reward work, throughout the process of construction and development, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union has always paid attention to and well implemented the role, position and tasks of the organization in women's work and emulation and reward work, making an important contribution to the process of building and developing the Vietnam Construction Trade Union.
At the conference, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union deployed the topic of emulation and reward work. Also at the conference, delegates listened to the topic "Women - Family in the era" delivered by Mr. Hoa Huu Van - former Deputy Director of the Family Department (Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism). On this occasion, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union awarded the Medal for the Development of Vietnamese Women to 4 individuals.
