The Vietnam Health Trade Union held a conference to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, and innovation.

On April 17, the Vietnam Health Trade Union held a Conference to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, along with directives from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Pham Thanh Binh, President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union, emphasized that in order to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, grassroots trade unions should effectively carry out tasks such as: Strengthening propaganda and thoroughly grasping the content of Resolution 57; encouraging and creating conditions for health workers to participate in scientific research, technical innovation initiatives, and innovation of working processes; organizing patriotic emulation movements associated with innovation and digital transformation in health, such as: "Good workers - Creative workers", "Good people - Good deeds", "Health workers innovate for people's health".

Along with that, grassroots trade unions coordinated to organize training, foster digital transformation knowledge, new technology skills for union members; propose policies to support and protect workers' rights in the digital transformation process...

At the conference, delegates were informed about the core contents of Resolution 57-NQ/TW; the conference on AI and AI application in the health sector, and shared about AI application in early detection screening and detection of Nhat Viet Medical Technology Joint Stock Company.

The delegates also listened to the orientation for implementation in trade union activities, as well as access to the directives and action plans for 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The conference is also an opportunity for delegates to discuss and share practical experiences in scientific research, application of technical innovation initiatives, and propose effective models and solutions to realize the Resolution spirit in each agency and unit.
