The company is in trouble, sales have declined, which means all employees' salaries have decreased. With less work, more free time and I are on social media. Mainly to chat with friends to get through the days of boredom.
One day in the conversation, the friend asked me: Do you want to sell online to increase your income? I heard that this was a fairly simple job, it only took me to sit at a computer for an additional 2-3 hours, so my ears were unable to hear, I agreed to try it.
The first days of online sales are the most difficult days. My eyes are always stuck to my phone, I can't answer customers, come to post product photos, comment and get interactions... but the number of orders are low.
Taking advantage of the lunch break, I went online again. When I get home in the evening, I also put my face and eyes on my phone. In the first month, thanks to online sales, my income increased by 500,000 VND.
I was very happy, thinking that I had more money to cover my rent, electricity and water bills... In the second month, my income from online sales increased to 1 million VND, and I was even more enthusiastic about working.
And until the 5th month, when welcoming her daughter at the school gate, her daughter's teacher said a sentence that I was almost surprised by: "I don't know if Bi's family would speak ill-adulteratedly, but this time in class, she often speaks ill-adulteratedly and hot-temperedly like before. Thank you for coming home to tell me, follow my grandchild closely...".
Since accepting the additional job of selling online, I have been negligent. The mother and daughter did not have time to read before bed like before. I just remember the other night, I was still whispering to my mother to read a book of stories, because I was tired and it was too late, so I made an appointment with him another day.
Recently, my child has also been more confused, not likes to talk to his parents, and only answers questions in the loudspeaker. After eating, I let my child play with toys alone, bought items he used to like, but I didn't accidentally ask him if he was happy with the games. The teacher's words made me decide to stop selling online to have time for my child.
Reading a new book or book says: In the age group of 0 to 4, a child's brain will develop 3 times in size. words, contact between parents and children, even the process of playing with children, not only help the baby's brain develop but also enhance emotional cohesion".
I returned to the cycle of the time when the mother and daughter used to play together, practice singing, read stories... The child was very excited.
I was too wrong to invest in making money to let my child alone. Children are the most valuable asset, their childhood needs to be loved by their parents, parents will somewhat orient their child's personality. I would rather be a little poor to exchange for time with my children.
I know that not only me but many other parents are currently fascinated by smartphones. Some are for work, the rest are for the hobby of chatting, watching movies, or simply satisfying the need to shop online. According to Google data, on average Vietnamese people open their phones 150 times/day, which is equivalent to 6-7 times per phone turn.
Smartphones can bring the whole world to you. However, the virtual world and smartphone make you forget about the things around you, especially with children.
I think that lesson needs to be shared immediately...
