On October 7, the Binh Thuan Provincial Social Insurance Trade Union, under the Binh Thuan Civil Servants' Trade Union, said it had organized training to improve knowledge and skills about trade unions for the chairmen, members of the inspection committee, group leaders, and deputy group leaders of trade union groups under the Provincial Social Insurance Trade Union and trade union officials of units under the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union.
Ms. Le Thi Hong Van - Deputy Director, Chairwoman of the Social Insurance Trade Union of Binh Thuan province said that the training session aims to equip and update new knowledge for union officials.
Thereby, helping union officials improve their skills and expertise and promptly come up with new solutions in leading and directing union activities. At the same time, building a team of union officials that is increasingly professional, dynamic and creative in the new situation.
At the training session, Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc - Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union conveyed the contents of the union's activities such as: Organization and operation of grassroots trade unions; updating union regulations, activities of the people's inspection committee, regulations on grassroots democracy, organizing and implementing union activities; providing professional guidance on inspection and supervision work of grassroots trade union inspection committees, etc.
From there, grassroots union officials gained new knowledge and skills in union activities at the unit. Practical difficulties and problems in union activities were also raised by union officials at the training session to be answered and discussed enthusiastically.
