On February 2, Chairwoman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Lan, said that introducing outstanding union members for consideration and admission by the Party is one of the important tasks of the provincial union. Over the past year, unions at all levels have actively introduced 1,208 outstanding union members for the Party to train, consider and admit; of which, 844 union members have officially become Party members.
In order to strengthen and develop Party organizations in enterprises, the Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a plan for synchronous implementation throughout the entire union system. Every year, the Provincial Federation of Labor assigns specific targets for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, as well as training outstanding union members to introduce them for Party membership. In addition, grassroots unions are directed to focus on promoting the development of union members, party members and establishing grassroots unions, especially during peak periods.
Along with organizational measures, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also focuses on political education for union members and workers to raise awareness, class awareness, and encourage self-awareness and striving to become Party members. Improving the quality of union members not only helps strengthen the strength of the union organization but also contributes to creating high-quality human resources for the Party.
In particular, the provincial trade union has proactively approached and met with business owners and workers to advocate and persuade businesses to establish Party organizations and trade unions right at the enterprise. This not only helps to enhance the role of trade unions but also creates favorable conditions for workers to have the opportunity to participate and develop in the Party organization.
In addition to Party development work, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also strongly implements legal regulations on anti-corruption throughout the entire trade union system. Raising awareness and sense of responsibility for anti-corruption is considered a key task to create positive changes in the thinking and actions of cadres, union members, civil servants and workers.
With the achieved results, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to synchronously implement solutions, promote Party development work in enterprise unions, contribute to building a strong union organization, improve the quality of cadres and union members, and meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.
