3 support packages for transferred civil servants in Lao Cai

Transferred civil servants in Lao Cai enjoy support policies according to regulations of the Provincial People's Council.

According to Resolution No. 15/2019/NQ-HDND of Lao Cai Provincial People's Council (effective from January 1, 2020), seconded and transferred civil servants in Lao Cai receive the following support policies:

Housing rental support: In case the cadre, civil servant or public employee is seconded or transferred and the agency or locality where he/she moves to does not have or cannot arrange official housing, he/she will be supported with monthly housing rental until the cadre is arranged official housing, specifically as follows:

a) Cadres assigned or transferred to wards of Sa Pa town and Lao Cai city are supported with 2,100,000 VND/month.

b) Cadres who are seconded or transferred to the remaining district centers in the province will receive support of 1,800,000 VND/month.

c) Cadres who are seconded or transferred to the remaining communes and towns in the province will receive support of VND 1,500,000/month.

Travel allowance

Seconded and transferred staff are supported with monthly travel expenses as follows:

Support amount = (Number of kilometers from residence/workplace to new work unit) x 2000 VND/km x 4 trips/month.

In case cadres, civil servants and public employees are transferred or seconded to a new work agency, but already have a family residence in the locality to which they are transferred or seconded, they will not be entitled to support policies for housing rental and travel expenses.

Living allowance

a) Cadres seconded or transferred to areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions according to the decision of competent authorities are supported with monthly living expenses. The support level is equal to the regional allowance of the place they are seconded or transferred to.

b) Female cadres who are seconded or transferred by competent authorities will receive an additional 50% of the living allowance prescribed in Clause a of this Article.

Time is not included in the support policies:

Time spent on business trips, work, or study for 1 month or more;

Continuous unpaid leave of 1 month or more (except in case of illness);

Time of suspension from work due to violation of the law.
