According to the report of the Mobilization Committee, implementing the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, from April 2026, the Mobilization Committee for the establishment of Gia Loc Ward Lottery Ticket Trading Union has promoted propaganda and mobilized lottery ticket sellers in the area to participate in trade union organizations. As a result, 30 freelancers working as lottery ticket sellers voluntarily wrote applications to join, creating an initial foundation for the formation and operation of the union.
At the congress, the Mobilization Committee officially announced the establishment of the Gia Loc Ward Lottery Ticket Trading Union. This is an organization representing and gathering workers working as lottery ticket sellers in the area, contributing to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, and at the same time strengthening solidarity and mutual support in life and work.
Speaking at the congress, representatives of Gia Loc Ward Trade Union highly appreciated the efforts of the Mobilization Committee in gathering informal sector workers to participate in trade union organizations. At the same time, they expect the union to promote its role as a bridge between workers and trade union organizations, promote propaganda, disseminate laws and care for union members' lives.
The Congress unanimously elected the Executive Committee of the Gia Loc Ward Lottery Ticket Union for the first term, consisting of 3 members. Among them, Ms. Pham Thi Trang Linh was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Union; Mr. Tran Phat Du and Ms. Mai Bich Thuy are members of the Executive Committee.
On this occasion, Gia Loc Ward Trade Union also presented 30 gifts to union members at the union launch ceremony, showing the concern and companionship of the trade union organization with freelance workers in the area.
The establishment of the Gia Loc Ward Lottery Ticket Trading Union is a step forward in the work of developing union members, expanding the scope of gathering workers in the informal sector, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
