Khanh Hoa - The Company and the HVS Trade Union have deployed an emergency support package of more than 3.3 billion VND to help workers return to work and stabilize their lives soon.

On November 25, Mr. Nguyen Thai Vu - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of HD Hyundai-Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS) - said that historic floods in Khanh Hoa in recent days have caused great damage, directly affecting the lives of thousands of families of workers and laborers.

In that situation, the company and the HVS Trade Union have deployed an emergency support package to help workers soon stabilize their lives and overcome initial difficulties.

Accordingly, the company decided to support 1 million VND for all 3,120 officers and employees. In addition, based on the level of damage, the company's trade union continues to provide additional support to 464 cases that were severely affected, each case with 500,000 VND.

The entire support amount was transferred to workers on November 25 to promptly help union members and workers overcome the consequences of floods. The total support budget from the company and the union is 3.352 billion VND.

In addition, to facilitate workers in arranging family matters due to flooding, the company has applied a working hours support regime for workers who have to leave early on November 19.

The 1-hour absence period is calculated according to the waiting salary regime, ensuring the rights of workers in difficult periods.

These timely policies demonstrate the concern of the Board of Directors and the HVS Trade Union in caring for the lives of union members and workers.

Thereby, contributing to helping them feel secure in stabilizing their lives and returning to work after natural disasters.
