On January 6, information from the Da Bac District Labor Federation said that in 2024, Da Bac Labor Unions at all levels achieved many remarkable achievements in caring for the lives, protecting the rights and promoting the emulation movement of workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLD) in the area.
These are outstanding results in the continuous effort to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the mountainous district of Hoa Binh.
According to the report, the total number of employees in the district is 2,405, of which 2,358 are union members. The average income of employees is 9.3 million VND/person/month, with the administrative sector reaching 8.2 million VND and the production and business sector reaching 7 million VND.
Taking care of the lives of union members and workers is carried out continuously, especially during the Lunar New Year.
A total of 2,601 gifts worth VND666.5 million were presented, including support from businesses, philanthropists and trade union budgets.
Notably, the "Union Shelter" program supported the construction of houses for two union members in difficult circumstances with a total cost of 120 million VND.
The Federation has launched a series of emulation movements such as "Good worker - Creative worker", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" and "Good at public work, good at housework".
As a result, 372 technical innovation initiatives were recognized, bringing in a profit of 744 million VND. In addition, 920 union members participated in competitions to learn about occupational safety and hygiene.
The dissemination of laws has been promoted, with 600 employees receiving consultation. Cultural and sports activities, such as volleyball tournaments or the tree planting festival “Forever grateful to Uncle Ho”, have created a vibrant and cohesive atmosphere in the working community.
With the achieved results, the Da Bac District Labor Federation had 1 collective and 1 individual awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 14 collectives and individuals awarded flags and certificates of merit by the Hoa Binh Provincial Labor Federation; 32 collectives and individuals awarded certificates of merit by the District Labor Federation.
