On the evening of October 6, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the qualifying round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024, Region 3 - Binh Duong.
At the end of the qualifying round, the organizing committee found 4 teams that entered the semi-finals and won tickets to the final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024 in Hanoi in November, including: Binh Duong Post Insurance, An Nguyen Bao, Binh Duong 2 Trade Union and Sacombank Binh Duong. All 4 teams are from Binh Duong province and won tickets to the final round in Hanoi.
In the final match of region 3 - Binh Duong, Binh Duong Post Insurance team met An Nguyen Bao team. Binh Duong Post Insurance excellently defeated the opponent with a score of 2-0 to win the championship cup of the qualifying round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024 region 3 - Binh Duong.
The Organizing Committee awarded 50 million VND in prize money to the Binh Duong Post Insurance team that won the Regional Championship 3 - Binh Duong; awarded 30 million VND in prize money to the An Nguyen Bao team that won the Second Prize and awarded 20 million VND in prize money to the Third Prize team, Binh Duong 2 Trade Union.
The 2024 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is jointly organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Tuoi Tre Newspaper.
This year, the tournament will take place in 4 regions: Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Bac Ninh and Binh Duong. The 16 best teams in the qualifying round will qualify for the national final round taking place in November 2024 in Hanoi.
Regional Qualifier 3 - Binh Duong has 12 competing teams, divided into 4 groups. The teams compete in a round robin to calculate points. The 4 best teams are entitled to participate in the national finals.
