60,842 union members of the Industry - Energy Group, income of 27.5 million VND/month

The Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group Trade Union has 60,842 union members, the average income of workers is 27.5 million VND/person/month.

On the morning of July 19, at Vietsovpetro Da Lat Hotel, Lam Dong province, the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group Trade Union held a preliminary review of the first 6 months of 2025.

Attending and directing the conference was Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Labor Relations Department - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the conference, the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group Trade Union summarized the union work in the first 6 months of 2025.

Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Chairwoman of the Group's Trade Union said that the unit has closely followed the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, closely coordinated with the Group's Board of Directors to develop appropriate programs and plans.

The Trade Union has launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; deploying the theme of activities "Focusing on concretizing the Resolution of the 7th Congress of the Group Trade Union, the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union".

Union activities are organized in accordance with reality, meeting the needs of workers and bringing practical results.

Ms. Lan affirmed that the trade union has accompanied businesses, contributing to helping workers promote the spirit of autonomy, solidarity, and creativity in labor, completing production and business targets. Trade union activities are increasingly improving, contributing to the overall success of the Group.

The conference also discussed and set out tasks for the last 6 months of the year and solutions for effective implementation. In particular, the unit will organize a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Group's founding (September 3, 1975 - September 3, 2025) and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).

On this occasion, the Group's Trade Union commended 14 collectives with outstanding achievements in Workers' Month, Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 and awarded prizes to the winning units at the Petrovietnam Sports Festival in the Southern region.

Currently, the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group Trade Union directly manages 32 affiliated trade unions including: 9 grassroots trade unions and 23 grassroots trade unions.

The total number of employees in the entire group is 60,671 people. Of which, there are 60,842 union members.

The number of female union members is 15,142 people, accounting for 24.9% of the total number of union members in the industry. The average income of workers is about 27.5 million VND/person/month.
