On December 7, Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union (TKV) said that in the period of 2023-2025, the Industry Trade Union has directed the organization of 3,609 conferences for workers at the construction site and workshop levels; 192 units organized conferences at the grassroots and above-ground levels; amended and supplemented 34 collective labor agreements (CLAs); organized surveys on the credit of managers of 14,528 people. The Labor Conference at all levels responded to 11,540 opinions and recommendations from workers.
TKV Trade Union has also agreed to build a collective labor agreement of TKV Group with 12 points that are more beneficial to employees than those prescribed by law. TKV Trade Union has developed guidelines for evaluating and classifying the quality of collective bargaining, signing and implementing the Collective Labor Agreement of the parent company and its affiliated units and scoring and classifying them as A, B, C. Organizing the scoring for 100% of newly signed collective labor agreements, the result in 2023 was that 60 collective labor agreements achieved type A with 93.75%; 4 collective labor agreements achieved type B with 6.25%; in 2024 there were 45 collective labor agreements achieved type A with 95.74%; 2 collective labor agreements achieved type B with 5.25%.
TKV trade unions at all levels also coordinated to organize dialogues at the workplace, in 3 years they have organized 790 dialogues, with 66,868 employees participating, resolving 7,005 opinions and recommendations.
Organize a Group-level Miners' Forum, a dialogue between the Group's leaders and 300 employees of underground coal mining units.
The units in the industry have also innovated the form, content, and dialogue subjects: Dialogue with high-level workers; dialogue with management staff at the construction site and workshop level; dialogue with occupational safety and health workers; dialogue with new workers and trainee students; dialogue with workers of ethnic minorities; dialogue on unit restructuring; dialogue with individual workers; dialogue with female workers; dialogue with young workers; dialogue with people when environmental safety incidents occur; some units implement online dialogue - Mr. Le Thanh Xuan said.
