The Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) has just issued Plan No. 25/KH-LFF on organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" Binh Ngo 2026, comprehensively caring for union members and workers.
The provincial-level "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" program, launching an emulation movement in 2026, is expected to attract about 700 union members to participate.
Coordinate with enterprises to organize "Union Year's Meals" for union members and workers, and participate in leadership working groups to visit, give gifts and wish a happy New Year.
Support union members and workers in difficulty and participate in the online "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026", guide them to purchase essential and convenient Tet goods and services at preferential prices and ensure quality.
Grassroots trade unions (CDCS) are directed to widely implement activities of visiting, giving gifts, wishing Tet, focusing on low-income union members who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, or are in especially difficult circumstances.
In addition, the Trade Union will coordinate to organize trips of cars, trains, and flights to pick up and drop off workers to return home for Tet. Union members who do not return to their hometowns will participate in Spring activities, celebrate a warm and joyful Tet, bearing the union's mark.
The "Union Meal" program has a minimum meal value of VND 70,000/person, from union financial resources combined with funding, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, sharing and understanding between workers and enterprises.
Trade unions at all levels also increase dialogue and negotiation with employers on salary and bonus payment plans for Tet; ensure the rights of union members and employees at enterprises facing difficulties, unpaid wages or dissolutions, or bankruptcies.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, requested that Tet care activities must be practical, safe, effective, economical and suitable for the actual needs of union members and workers. The total resources and concerns this year must be greater than previous years.
"This year's "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program not only takes care of material things but also improves spiritual life, creates a joyful and warm atmosphere and connects union members and workers with the trade union organization", Mr. Linh added.
