On August 6, the Trade Union of Thiet Lap Company Limited (Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Vinh Long Province) organized a Trade Union meal for all employees. This is an annual activity, coordinated by enterprises and trade unions to care for workers' lives.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Cam, an office worker at the company, said that this year's Union meal was very complete, a rich and quality dish.

According to Ms. Cam, this is a great spiritual encouragement for the workers. The intimate atmosphere, everyone was happy and comfortable like in a big family.
"In addition to this cozy meal, on holidays, Tet, March 8 or May 1 ... the company and the Trade Union all have practical rewards and gifts to encourage the spirit and create cohesion in the labor collective", Ms. Cam said.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tuoi, a worker in the production team, the meal is an opportunity for workers to sit together after work, share and bond.
"I am very grateful for such thoughtful attention. Dishes such as pork rolls, beef stew, goat curry, fish hotpot... are all very delicious and carefully prepared. Not only full but also warm the heart. The company not only takes care of jobs and income, but also takes care of spiritual life very well," Ms. Tuoi shared.
Ms. Tran Ngoc Hien - Chairman of the Trade Union of Thiet Lap Company Limited - said that the Union Meal is an activity that has been maintained for many years, demonstrating the solidarity between businesses and workers.
According to Ms. Hien, the Trade Union always tries to take care of workers with practical actions, not only in this meal but also during holidays, Tet or difficult times, to show gratitude for the workers' persistent contributions. This year's meal is worth about 200,000 VND/meal, the dishes are carefully prepared, ensuring food hygiene and safety.
"We want to make this meal so that everyone feels recognized, adding motivation to work. In the near future, the Trade Union will continue to coordinate with the Board of Directors to organize more activities to care for the spiritual and material lives of workers in a more practical way," Ms. Hien affirmed.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - the Union meal is a good model, rich in humanity, and needs to be replicated.
"Caring for workers is not only about salary and bonus, but also about spiritual life. A cozy meal like this helps workers feel more shared and attached to the company and the trade union organization, Mr. Linh emphasized.
