The conference took place in the context that the Tram Chim Commune Trade Union has just been consolidated after the locality completed the steps to reorganize administrative units. Based on Decision No. 125/QD-LDLD dated September 29, 2025 of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, the Commune Trade Union received 5 grassroots trade unions and trade unions, with 550 union members, marking an important step in development, affirming its role as a reliable support for the team of workers, civil servants and laborers.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the conference focused on discussing many major contents and identifying two breakthroughs in the 2025 - 2030 term: Developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in the non-state enterprise sector, ensuring coverage and improving the quality of union activities in residential areas; Improving the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on core issues of workers such as wages, benefits, working conditions, and occupational safety and hygiene.
Along with that, the Commune Trade Union voted to approve 7 term targets, 7 annual targets, 9 tasks and solutions focusing on improving staff capacity, applying digital transformation in management, building strong grassroots trade unions and expanding emulation movements of a widespread nature.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged the proactive spirit, efforts to stabilize the organization and quickly start implementing the new tasks of the Tram Chim Commune Union.
The Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor highly appreciated the Executive Committee for promptly grasping the situation at the grassroots level, developing targets and directions for the 2025 - 2030 term in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that the Commune Union focus on implementing well 5 key groups of tasks. First of all, it is necessary to identify the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots unions as a breakthrough throughout the term; at the same time, proactively coordinate with enterprises, especially the non-state sector to increase negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements towards core issues of workers.
At the same time, the Commune Trade Union needs to better care for the lives and welfare of union members and workers; increase visits and timely support; promote the tradition of mutual love and support and promote socialization to mobilize more resources for care.

In addition, building modern union communication channels via Zalo, Facebook... is extremely necessary to convey information quickly - quickly - effectively - to union members. At the same time, proactively grasp, reflect and orient against bad and toxic information, contributing to protecting the organization and union members.
Along with that, the Commune Trade Union needs to promote emulation movements, especially the movement "Good workers - Creative workers", to encourage initiatives, improve techniques and spread the spirit of innovation in the grassroots.
The Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized the need to strengthen the system of trade union groups, develop new union members and train outstanding union members to introduce to the Party for consideration of admission, thereby ensuring the inheritance and solid development of the Trade Union organization.
The conference announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee consisting of 3 comrades, comrade Ly Tuong Dan was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union.
