On November 14, the Trade Union of Sungjin Vinh Long Vina Company Limited held the 3rd Congress, term 2025-2030, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - attended and directed the Congress.
During the 2023-2028 term, the grassroots trade union has promoted its role of representing and protecting workers and completed 10/11 targets of the Resolution.
The union focuses on taking care of union members' lives, giving more than 320 Tet gifts and supporting emergency difficulties with a total budget of over 450 million VND, contributing to encouraging workers to work with peace of mind.
The Trade Union coordinated with the enterprise to improve welfare, support between shift meals of VND 20,900/meal and coordinated with the Board of Directors of the Trade Union to organize a Trade Union Meal, helping to improve nutrients, ensure health and maintain productivity of more than 1,200 workers in the whole company.
The union organized 8 dialogues, maintained periodic health check-ups for 100% of employees, supervised the payment of policies with a total cost of 13.566 billion VND, contributing to maintaining harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi praised the efforts of the Trade Union in the past term, and emphasized the need for innovation and more flexibility in organizing emulation movements and caring for union members in the context of the current restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus.
Ms. Kim Chi thanked the Company's Board of Directors for accompanying and creating conditions to increase wages, income and working environment for employees - an important foundation to help the Trade Union operate effectively, strengthening workers' trust in the organization.
Representing the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Kim Chi expressed her confidence that the new Executive Committee will promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity to successfully implement the Congress Resolution.
She hopes that the company will continue to support the Union activities to achieve higher results, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Union Congress.
The Congress elected 9 members of the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The first Executive Committee Conference unanimously elected Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen as Chairwoman, Ms. Huynh Thi Cam Qui as Vice Chairwoman and Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union Inspection Committee.
The Congress voted to approve 10 groups of targets to be implemented in the 2025-2030 term, in which the admission of union members reached over 98% of the total number of workers.
