On November 14, the Trade Union of Ty Thanh Company Limited held its 4th Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front (VFF), Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - attended and gave a speech with 99 delegates and representatives of more than 2,000 union members to attend.
The report for the 2020-2025 term shows that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union has closely followed the resolutions and instructions of superiors, fully inspected and supervised policies related to employees; 100% of employees are eligible to participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance according to regulations.
Care work is maintained throughout: visiting sick people and relatives with a total cost of more than 119 million VND; giving 4,676 Tet gifts to employees worth 2 billion VND; taking care of 4,338 employees' children during the Mid-Autumn Festival worth 1,000 VND; supporting periodic health check-ups with a budget of 275.3 million VND; supporting vacations worth more than 1.23 billion VND. The union also mobilized support for social and charity activities with an amount of over 209 million VND.
During the term, the total number of union members reached 2,064/2,064 employees (100%), developing 264 new union members; introducing 3 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission.
In particular, the Trade Union has effectively coordinated with the Board of Directors to implement the "Workers' Support" Program, build 3 Trade Union shelters, 7 charity houses and support 80 million VND in livelihood for poor union members' families, contributing to helping workers stabilize their lives.
The 2025-2030 term orientation sets many key goals: developing union members to reach over 85% of the number of introduced employees; 100% of excellent union groups; ensuring 100% of employees enjoy full policies and regimes; mobilizing 100% of union members to participate in social and charity funds...
The Congress elected 13 members of the Executive Committee, Ms. Pham Thi Diem Trang to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Ty Thanh Company Limited, with the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged the efforts of the Executive Committee in the past term, especially the "Back of Workers" program to build 3 shelters, 7 charity houses, supporting 80 million livelihood capital.
Mr. Linh emphasized that in the new term, the Executive Committee needs to innovate its methods of operation, improve the effectiveness of caring for employees, effectively implement the Collective Labor Agreement and organize periodic dialogues.
The trade union coordinated to organize occupational safety training, promote the "Good and creative workers" movement, reward outstanding factors, create motivation to compete to excellently complete tasks and plan targets.
