On February 26, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to announce decisions on merging departments, offices, appointing officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor, ending the activities of industry unions and establishing block unions.
Accordingly, the departments and offices under the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor will be merged, leaving 3 departments and offices. 3 industry unions (Provincial Civil Servants' Union, Provincial Education Trade Union and Health Trade Union) will also end their activities. Instead, a new Party Committee Trade Union and a new People's Committee Trade Union of Ben Tre province were established.

Regarding personnel work, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bien - Chief of Office of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor was appointed to continue to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor.
Appointed Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thang - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - to hold the position of Head of the Organization - Inspection Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor.
Appointed Mr. Pham Hoa - Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - to hold the position of Head of the Professional Affairs Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor.
Appointed Mr. Nguyen Huynh Nhan Trung - Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Health Trade Union of Ben Tre province and Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Mai - Head of the Finance Department of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor to both hold the position of Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor.
Appointed Mr. Huynh Van Nghia - Deputy Head of the Organization Department of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - to the position of Deputy Head of the Organization - Inspection Department of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor.
Appointed Ms. Le Thi Hong Nhung - Deputy Head of the Policy and Law Department of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor and Ms. Tran Thi Nho - President of the Ben Tre Provincial Education Trade Union to both hold the position of Deputy Head of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor's Professional Department.
The appointment decisions take effect from March 1, 2025.


Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus is carried out according to the regulations and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee and the Project of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the Provincial Federation of Labor and industry unions.
In the coming time, Mr. Linh suggested that the leaders of the departments and offices after the merger need to carry out the ideological work of cadres well, maintain internal solidarity, build specific and clear working regulations, assign specific and clear tasks, evaluate the capacity and promote the strengths of each cadre.
"For comrades who are assigned, transferred, or appointed to new positions, it is necessary to quickly grasp the work, promote intelligence, high responsibility, and apply flexibility and creativity in performing tasks. Thereby, together building a united, unified, joint will and action collective, successfully completing the Resolution of 2025 and the Resolution of the 11th Ben Tre Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028", said Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh.
