Article 8 of Circular No. 02/2021/TT-BGDDT stipulates as follows:
1. Officials appointed to the professional titles of primary school teachers specified in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, specifically as follows:
a) Grade III primary school teachers, code V.07.03.29, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
b) Grade II primary school teachers, code V.07.03.28, are subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A2, group A2.2, from salary coefficient 4.00 to salary coefficient 6.38;
c) Grade I primary school teachers, code V.07.03.27, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A2 civil servants, group A2.1, from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.
2. The salary arrangement when appointed to a professional title rank is implemented according to the instructions in Clause 1, Section II of Circular No. 02/2007/TT-BNV dated May 25, 2007 of the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding salary arrangement when upgrading, transferring ranks, transferring types of civil servants and public employees and according to current regulations of law. When implementing the new salary policy, the classification to the new salary will be implemented according to Government regulations.
Thus, currently, civil servants appointed to the professional titles of primary school teachers are paid according to the above instructions.
